London-based composer and National Youth Jazz Choir alumni Chelsea Carmichael performs this Late Night Jazz session, as part of our Unstoppable Voices season.

Chelsea is heavily involved in the vibrant UK jazz scene, performing with artists including SEED ensemble, The Huw Bennett Quintet, Arun Ghosh, and the Arthur O’Hara trio, and has previously toured with international heavy weights Terence Blanchard, and Courtney Pine.

She is now debuting her own project under her own name, playing original music influenced by her love of groove and intricate rhythms.

This performance in the Hall’s Elgar Room is one of a number of Unstoppable Voices shows compiled by composer and saxophonist Cassie Kinoshi, one of the season’s guest curators.
